Born and raised in South Central Los Angeles, Monique Renée has been captivating audiences since the age of six. With deep roots in rhythm and blues, her vocal style reflects the influence of musical icons such as Teena Marie, Whitney Houston, Anita Baker, and Mariah Carey. Her recent sold-out performance in Hollywood drew standing ovations and overwhelming demand for more.
A seasoned performer with international tours and national TV appearances under her belt, Monique’s credits include her time as lead vocalist of Mercury Records’ group Female, as well as features on the Panther soundtrack and the iconic Freedom project alongside TLC, SWV, and Xscape. Her collaborations span a diverse range of artists including Dave Koz, Shanice Wilson, Too $hort, and the late Dwayne Wiggins.
